I
dressed them up in a black & white theme today. I love Alisha's classy white dress (I bought
it in Thailand last year)!
For
their backdrop I made pennants, also known as triangle banner.
Although it's not very obvious unless one
looks carefully, but I used hearts/xoxo/red/pink/maroon/valentine themed
patterned papers to make the banner - kinda thinking
of using the same triangle banners for Valentine's decor next month so that a one-time effort is worth
it :D I glued the folds of the triangles onto jute strings.
This backdrop is very common but it is very budget-friendly decoration too if you are looking for a DIY backdrop idea. Side note: after all the clicks I realized that ideal photoshoot with these triangle banners is when you cannot see where the banners begin and end. So I should have made them longer and I should have positioned the kids with the banner in a way so that a zoomed in photo would not show how small the banners were.
For
the text: It's the chalkboard side of their magnetic puzzle and I added text on
it during editing (it was blank during the shoot).
And here's another one with Alisha going further away as I ask her to come towards the center for the click :-)
Phew. 6 down, 5 days to go!
